Natural Antibacterial
For the treatment of animal feed and raw material such as meat or fish meal and animal by products susceptible of contamination by moulds and bacteria .
SAFE-FID is effective in controlling both Gram negative bacteria (Salmonella and E. Coli) and Gram positive ( Staphylococci, Streptococci, Listeria) and spore forming bacteria (Clostridium).
Composition
Citric Acid, Calcium and Sodium Formate, Sorbic Acid, Propionic Acid, Ammonium Propionate, and Natural terpens from vegetable origin.
Mode of action
Reduction of pH and direct action of the acids on the bacterias and moulds.
The antibacterial effect is produced when the non dissociated form of the acids penetrates the bacteria cells disrupting its metabolism and causing death.
